Raising money is mostly preparation. Lenders and investors decide quickly whether a company is well run, and the first signal is the quality of the numbers they are sent. A model that does not balance, or a forecast that cannot be tied back to the accounts, costs you a point of interest or a turn of valuation before the first meeting.
Fees that do not pull against you
We charge a fixed preparation fee — from $18,000 for a bank facility — and a success fee of 1.5–3% of funds raised, payable only on completion. The preparation fee means our advice does not depend on getting a deal done at any price. If the right answer is not to raise, we will say so.
Who we approach
Regional and national banks, asset-based lenders, private credit funds, family offices and a small number of growth equity investors in the US and Switzerland. We keep the list short and relevant; spraying a pack to fifty lenders tells the market something is wrong.
